How to Make the Russian Tea

We get lots of requests for the recipe for the Russian tea we serve at the village.  It's quite easy to make.


Start with 2 cups of water in a sauce pan.  Add 1 cup of sugar, 4 cinnamon sticks, and 12 whole cloves.  Bring this to boil and dissolve the sugar. Then turn off and let steep for five minutes. 


In a one gallon container pour a large can of pineapple juice.  Add to this a quart of orange juice, and a quart of sweet tea, and 1/4 cup lemon juice.


Finally , remove cloves and cinnamon sticks and add syrup to the juice mixture.


This is best served hot.  Enjoy!!
